Legend tells of an Ethiopian goat herder named “Kaldi” who first discovered coffee when he noticed his goats jumping around, dancing and acting rather unusual. Upon closer inspection he discovered they were eating what would later be identified as a coffee cherry. The distribution of coffee was not very well recorded until the 1400’s where it started its ascent to becoming the world’s most traded commodity next to oil and gas!
