The Women's Contact Society is a community organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the WL (Williams Lake) area. We offer a variety of programs and services aimed at addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by women.

Our Women's Counselling Program provides professional counseling services to women who may be experiencing emotional difficulties, trauma, or crisis situations. Our trained counselors provide a safe and supportive environment for women to explore their feelings, gain coping skills, and develop strategies for personal growth.

Legal Advocacy is another essential service we offer. Our experienced advocates provide support and guidance to women who may be dealing with legal issues such as divorce, custody disputes, domestic violence, or employment discrimination. To promote healthy living and access to nutritious food, we operate the Good Food Box program. This program allows women and their families to purchase fresh and locally sourced produce at an affordable cost. Childcare can often be a significant concern for women, especially those who are juggling work, education, or other responsibilities. At the Women's Contact Society, we provide a comprehensive Child Care Resource and Program. We assist women in finding suitable daycare options for their children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while they attend to their own needs.

For women who require more extensive childcare services, our Kidcare Daycare offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Our qualified staff prioritize children's emotional, social, and educational development, allowing mothers to have peace of mind while they focus on their personal and professional endeavors.
