The Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Coquitlam, BC, Canada continues the legacy of great dancing instruction started by Arthur Murray himself in 1912. Arthur Murray Studio teaches all levels from beginner to advanced and specializes in the partnership dances: Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Salsa and more.
Arthur Murray International is currently the world's largest dance teaching organization. Today there are over 280 studios worldwide in over 20 countries - from Canada to Australia, South Africa, Ukraine, Middle East and Japan. We have been open in the Tri-Cities since 2004 and in the lower mainland of British Columbia continuously since 1948.
Our mission: to improve people’s lives through dancing. Learning to dance is mental and physical exercise full of novel experiences, new skills, laughter and meeting new people. More and more studies are showing how important these are for our health, well-being and quality of life.
The Arthur Murray teaching method has been honed over the last 100 years into a remarkably efficient system of learning. We help people prepare for cruises, weddings, Christmas parties, anywhere the physical and social skills of a good dancer are useful. We teach both social and competitive styles of ballroom dancing.
