45 Years of Dirt, Snow & Water

In June 1972, Lino & Santina Punis decided to embark on a new venture. Lino left his job as a supervisor for Northwood Inc. in Houston to go into business for himself with Santina as his partner, now known as Lino’s Sales Ltd.

Our children, Marco Punis & Gina Strimbold have been part of the business since the beginning. Marco was eight years old and Gina 3 years old when we started. They both grew up around the store and as they got older both eventually started working full-time for us. Now you will also see our grandchildren, Kian & Daria Strimbold and Katherine Punis working in various areas around the store.

We sell Kingfisher boats and recreational vehicles in the summer, and in the winter Arctic Cat snowmobiles. We are a dealer for Honda, Arctic Cat, Mercury Marine, Yamaha & Husqvarna.

In 2010 we built a new building for storage and a showroom for the retail products. In 2013 we tore down our quonset shop and built a new repair shop.

This year we will celebrate our 45th year of business in the Lakes District. Lino and Santina would like to thank the community of Burns Lake and residents of the Lakes District for all of the support.
